Junior Officials, including first year officials are to register for the  level 1,2 clinic on September 11 by going to
bchockey.net . You need your hockey ID number and if you  don’t have it you can email myself, steenhof7@hotmail.com or Tracey  Turko dtturko@bulkley.net to get  it. You then have to do the on-line portion of the clinic. You can email me if  you need the E-Learning Tutorial sent to you. There will be a one hour on ice  session the day of the clinic. Please bring skates, helmet (your regular hockey  helmet will do), and whistle to the clinic. If you have any questions please let  Helga Steenhof (steenhof7@hotmail.com or phone 847-9821).

Senior  Officials, your clinic is on September 18. You need to complete the on-line  portion of the clinic before that date. If you already have a criminal record  check within the last 3 years then you are fine. If not then you need to  complete the Criminal record check and the Vulnerable Persons Check (you have  until December 1 to complete this). If you have any questions please contact  Helga Steenhof at the above email or telephone number.

Please email the  head referee
steenhof7@hotmail.com if  you have any questions or would  like a tutorial emailed to  you on the online portion of the  clinics.

An
important  change to this years referee clinics are as follows:

This year it is going to be a little different than in years past as we have  incorporated an online portion to the Officiating clinics. All officials must  complete an online portion of the clinic before coming to the actual clinic with  an instructor.

Once completed the student MUST print off a certificate  showing they have completed the online session and bring it to the Instructor  lead clinic. The classroom portion of the clinic is approximately 3 hours in  length and the regular officials exam is written at this time. New officials are  to have an on-ice session with their classroom portion as well so that would  make it approximately 4 hours total for level 1 and 2's.

It is imperative  that all officials coming to the classroom portion have the certificate of  completion for the online clinic. If they do not have it they cannot do the  classroom portion. There will be
ABSOLUTELY NO SIGN UPS THE DAY OF THE  CLASSROOM CLINIC.
