COVID 19 Update – June 2020

As you are all aware COVID 19 ended our season a week early last year when Hockey Canada pulled sanctioning from all events.  The good news is Hockey Canada has began to sanction events again.

As we move forward looking at next season we do know that there will be a 2020-2021 hockey season and it will most likely look a little different than in the past. Further information will be provided to membership in August in accordance to guidelines that are currently being developed by the province, health authorities and local government. SMHA has created a task force to ensure that these guidelines are followed with player/parent safety as a top priority.

Registration is now open and in the unlikely event of the season being cancelled all funds will be returned.   Contact our registrar if you have any questions about payment options.

Will there be games played between teams?
I heard someone say there won’t be games just practices.
