Please register in the applicable category (Skater, Goalie, Rep Tryout) and age division as of Dec 31, 2023. If you are unable to register in your chosen division or category it could be due to player limits having been reached. Please contact our Registrar for more information.

Apply for Financial Assistance
KidSport™ assists individual athletes whose financial opportunities are limited. KidSport offers grants to children who need assistance with the funds required to cover their sports registration fees. KidSport believes no child should have to sit on the sidelines if they really want to play. Parents who require assistance must fill out an application and submit it directly to KidSport and notify our administrator. SMHA encourages donations to this organization.

Criteria for Jumpstart assistance includes the following
- Child must be between the ages of 4 and 18
- Funding must be for a program involving sport or physical activity
- Your family must be in financial need as defined by Government guidelines

Athletics 4 Kids Provides assistance to ensure all BC children, regardless of socioeconomic status, can participate in organized sport by providing families with financial assistance.

What is included with my registration fees?
Fees include but are not limited to:
- Use of Team Jerseys (replaced every 3-5 years)
- Game Socks
- SMHA & BC Hockey Assessment Fees
- Coaching
- Goalie Training
- General Management & Administration
- Referees
- Insurance
- Ice – Minimum 2 practice ice time/week
